The Brown & Sharpe ball-shaped, carbide contact point has an M1.7x4 thread size, and is designed for use with Interapid series inch dial test indicators. Carbide contact points are resistant to wear and magnetic fields.Dial indicators are also called dial gauges, dial calipers, and probe indicators.
